This is what he wrote (we apologize in advance):
“Apparently Andy Murray is some hot shot tennis player? News to me.
(To be fair, I only follow sports where there’s a high-if-not-certain likelihood of someone getting punched in the face).
Anyways, manifold.xyz made an open edition NFT, which used a whole bunch of sports data from Andy’s games to create this 3D color burst artwork.
(I’ll create a gif of the art and use it as the header image).
I can’t figure out how the sports data relates to the artwork – but I think that’s kind of the point?
→ They make a video of Andy hitting volleys with a motion-capture suit on.
→ Anyone that watches it is impressed by all of the effort put into it.
→ But no one really knows how it’s being used to create the art.
