Pitting gaming communities against each other in a race to see who can be the first to bring down Old Sally, Champions Ascension prepares to launch a new phase of their ever growing virtual world!
The Champions Ascension team has hinted for a while that this team-based, PvE feature was coming to the game. But they have really chosen to launch it in style, giving a number of communities from other games chances to assemble teams of their finest warriors. Guilds, friend groups, and gatherings of random strangers are all are invited as well to attempt to be the first in the world to slay Old Sally! Some of the gaming communities are offering extra prizes and incentives for their players, so check around to find the right group for you.
Champions Ascension is free to play and available for download from https://champions.io/download. The game is currently only available for Windows The recommended specs are:

The Old Sally Event
To defeat Old Sally, players must gather up in groups and set off into the sewers. None of the participants will have any sort of early access to Old Sally. Everyone will be starting this event off with the same lack of knowledge and will have to learn through trial and error! Servers for the event open on June 8th at 3pm CST. Old Sally won’t become available until 4pm, giving everyone a chance to get themselves and their team ready. Old Sally will be active until 7pm, with a one hour wind-down and social hour afterwards.

For those who haven’t played before or just want some practice, the servers will also be open today (June 3rd) from 2pm to 8pm CST, with 3v3 battles as the arena focus.
What is Champions Ascension?
Champions Ascension is an arena-based, gladiatorial combat game built inside a virtual world. Though the 3D arena combat is the centerpiece of the game, Champions Ascension is also building an open world around it. One where players can walk around, interact, and engage in various other activities. The world includes crafting, breeding, land ownership, an in-game marketplace, a staking system, mini-games, and more!
Champions Ascension held an initial sale of Prime Eternals in early 2022. Prime Eternals are generative NFTs with varying attributes that function as in-game characters and as profile picture NFTs. With only 7,622 in existence, Prime Eternals grant many benefits that other characters won’t receive. Champions Ascension is currently running regular game previews, open to everyone. These events, known as Slice of Massina, offer various mini-games such as Drunk Racing, and Dudo, a betting/bluffing game, in addition to the main arena combat game.
