We’re thrilled to announce that Bill Friedman has joined Unstoppable Domains as General Counsel. In this role, Bill will lead the legal department and support our mission of delivering user-owned, digital identity to every person on the planet, including helping drive the Web3 Domain Alliance in its efforts to promote the development of the blockchain naming ecosystem. Bill will report to Unstoppable COO and Head of Business Development Sandy Carter.

Bill joins Unstoppable following a 15-year legal career at Cisco, where he was most recently Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Compliance, Brand Protection and Security at Cisco. He led the company’s 70-person Corporate Compliance and Brand Protection teams and oversaw litigation related to brand protection. Before joining Cisco in 2007, he was a litigation associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Bill holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Brown University.
