Animoca Brands subsidiary Eden Games announced Monday that it is developing Cosmic Royale, a new blockchain-based kart racing game connected to the Animoca-centric Mocaverse on-chain identity and community platform.
Set to launch in the fourth quarter this year, the Mario Kart-inspired racing game will also be part of Animoca’s Motorverse gaming ecosystem, which includes titles such as Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, and MotoGP Ignition.
Cosmic Royale features 40-player matches with multiple racing rounds and a survival-themed finale. The game will serve as the pilot gaming experience for Cosmic Club, Mocaverse’s new social gamification platform. The initial trailer shows avatars from the NFT profile picture (PFP) projects Cool Cats and the Bored Ape Yacht Club, alongside original characters.

Cosmic Royale will initially roll out in a limited-access beta test, which will be offered to Moca NFT holders and Moca ID owners starting on July 24. These players can earn Realm Points (RP) by playing, potentially qualifying them for a future airdrop of MOCA Coin.
The Mocaverse MOCA token launched last week through the platform’s genesis airdrop, with the Ethereum token rising to a current market cap of $127 million via its price above $0.11.
