Phantom Galaxies prepares a new airdrop for their NFT holders. This one consists of Catalyst NFTs, which owners can use to influence the trait generation in the upcoming Starfighter, Planet and Avatar mints!
Phantom Galaxies will soon bring a new NFT airdrop to their players and supporters. This airdrop consists of Catalyst NFTs that will play a role in upcoming mints.
Players will use Catalysts when minting Starfighters, Avatars, and Planets. All of these NFTs are generative, meaning that they will have some randomized traits when generated. However, players can influence these traits when minting by using a Phantom Catalyst. Phantom Catalysts will be specific to an NFT type — Starship, Avatar, or Planet.
Catalyst NFTs will be sent out to NFT holders based on the following list:
- The Hopeful — Avatar Gender Catalyst
- Zorran’s Favour — Rare Avatar Catalyst
- Planet Founders — Planet Catalyst (additional Rare Planet Catalyst for top Planet tiers)
- Complete Posters (Redeemed + Unredeemed) and Medals set — Rare Planet Catalyst
- AR Progress Tracker — Starfighter Catalyst
- AR Trophy — Rare Starfighter Catalyst
Players will be able to use one Catalyst during each mint process. The Gender Catalyst will let Avatar minters select the Gender. Other Catalysts will apply one specific trait to the newly generated NFT. These Catalysts can be bought, sold, and traded as well, so players can find the exact trait they want for their mints.
Mintpass creation opened earlier this year, with players able to create new passes with Medals, Posters, or ASTRAFER tokens earned during the alpha tests. Mintpasses can also be purchased on secondary markets. The NFTs generated in these mints are genesis/early adopter type items, and they all come with numerous benefits.
As of the time of this article, we do not have a date for the wallet snapshot. So there is still a chance to stock up on Phantom Galaxies NFTs if you want to be included in this airdrop!
What is Phantom Galaxies?
Phantom Galaxies is story-based, FPS set in a future of space travel and planet colonization. Players follow the story quests, fight pirates, and upgrade their character and starships along the way. Phantom Galaxies completed a series of alpha playtest episodes, offering special rewards in the form of NFTs and Astrafite, the game currency.
Each Episode in Phantom Galaxies features a story driven quest line. Completing the quest gives the player a chance to mint a Medal NFT. These NFTs are special rewards showing that you finished these alpha Episodes, which in turn allow owners to mint Poster NFTs. Playing in the Phantom Galaxies alpha requires owning a Phantom Galaxies NFT. But there are several options available for less than $5 on Open Sea.
Phantom Galaxies runs on a downloadable client and features walkable space stations, numerous quests, high-quality graphics, and both space and land based combat! A new beta should arrive soon.
