Players can earn Meow pointsby playing the game and completing missions. There are a number of missions available, in daily, weekly, and event form. Aside from completing missions in-game, users can also earn Meow points by completing various social tasks such as joining Discord, following Nyan Heroes on Twitter, that sort of thing. Additionally, certain NFT holders can claim bonus points! This includes holders of Eth Lizards, Genopets Habitats, and Madlads, just to name a few.
And of course, holding Nyan Heroes NFTs provides Meow points as well. Nyan Hero NFTs are available on Magic Eden. Current floor sits at 3.355 SOL tokens.
We don’t yet know the conversion rate for MEOW to NYAN, but this weekend (March 29th-31st), you can earn double points. So get in there and start fighting!
What is Nyan Heroes?
Nyan Heroes is a team-based, third-person shooter featuring mechs piloted by cats. With these cat-run mechs comes some catlike agility, allowing players to climb, scale, and bounce off walls, providing an extra level of tactical gameplay. Players can choose from a variety of pilots and weapons, each with their own special abilities and stat.
And though you don’t quite get the expected nine lives, you do get two — launching your cat from the mech right before destruction. Cats outside of their mech can continue fighting, or try to re-integrate with their mech and get back into the thick of things.
The game is very playable and quick paced, even in its pre-alpha state. Finding a match was easy, and you can even queue up with friends or a full team.
Nyan Heroes will offer a variety of maps and objectives for players to battle over, with the available options growing over time. They also hope to introduce user generated content in the future. On top of all of that, Nyan Heroes also donates to a global cat charity every time their game is downloaded!
