The Shiba Inu ecosystem X handle calls attention to the launch of an NFT Bridge feature on the Layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium.

The team behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem announced the development yesterday, emphasizing that users can easily deposit and withdraw their NFTs. It quoted an earlier disclosure from Shibarium’s official X handle, shedding light on the recent upgrade.

NFT bridge is now live on Shibarium! 🎉 Easily deposit and withdraw your NFTs. Check out our thread for a step-by-step guide. #Shibarium https://t.co/cIFvr2555l

Shibarium NFT Bridge

Per the post, crypto users can now transfer their Ethereum-originating NFTs to Shibarium in a few clicks. This indicates that users can deposit their NFTs originally minted on the Ethereum blockchain to Shibarium and vice versa.

According to the team, the newly introduced feature seeks to open up new opportunities for displaying, trading, and utilizing NFTs on Shibarium.

The team assured users that bridging NFTs between Ethereum and Shibarium is fast and secure, emphasizing that the activity takes a few clicks.

Steps to Deposit and Withdraw NFTs to Shibarium

Furthermore, it provided a video clip showing a step-by-step guide on how users can move their NFTs from Ethereum to Shibarium and vice versa.

Depositing NFTs From Ethereum to Shibarium

To deposit NFTs from Ethereum to Shibarium, users must visit the Bridge platform and connect their wallets like MetaMask on the Ethereum network. Afterward, locate the Bridge section and select the NFT for deposit.

Once selected, hit the ‘transfer’ button to proceed and confirm the transaction within the wallet. The NFT will be transferred from Ethereum to Shibarium upon confirmation.

Withdrawing NFTs From Shibarium to Ethereum

This process is almost similar to depositing NFTs from Ethereum to Shibarium. However, this requires users to move their Shibarium NFTs to the Ethereum network.

To do this, visit the Shibarium homepage and connect the wallet to the Shibarium network. On the Bridge NFT section, select the NFTs that need to be moved to the Ethereum network and hit the transfer button.

Approve the transaction within the wallet and wait for its completion. Once successful, the NFT will be moved to the Ethereum network from Shibarium.

The recently introduced feature further expands Shibarium’s utility, making it one of the top blockchains that support NFT bridging.

Besides bridging NFTs, Shibarium allows users to move their fungible tokens like BONE to and from Ethereum. This feature received a major upgrade earlier this year, reducing the bridge time to 45 minutes from seven days.
