Web3 social game “Gas Hero”
Find Satoshi Lab (FSL), the operator of the fitness app “STEPN”, announced on the 10th that it will launch the Web3 social game “Gas Hero”. It’s due for release later this year.
As part of the promotion of this game, it is also revealed that a total of about 2 million GMT tokens (equivalent to about 60 million yen) will be prepared. We will be looking for in-game avatar creations and designs, called ‘heroes’, and will award GMT tokens to the chosen ones.

GMT token is Step’n’s governance token. It is based on the Solana (SOL) blockchain. Step’n is an exercise dApp, and users can get a utility token called “GST” by walking or running.
Game content
According to Find Satoshi Lab, Gas Hero is a game where users collect NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and fight for fame, wealth and power.
Games will be decentralized through initiatives such as community voting, and asset trading between players will use GMT tokens as the transaction currency.
The setting is sci-fi, set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2084 after the actions of AI (artificial intelligence) lead to a nuclear attack. The “gas” in “Gas Hero” refers to the natural gas that powers the cloning lab in the game world.
Gas heroes fight to save mankind and restore world order. It has been suggested that battle elements and strategic elements will be incorporated into the game, but the full picture has not yet been revealed.
Find Satoshi Lab plans to divide the content of the game into seven parts and release them in stages.
According to Shiti Manghani, the company’s chief operating officer (COO), the game has a player-versus-player element, multi-player simultaneous participation, and a social aspect.
In terms of development, the focus is on refining the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of the game.
Regarding the gaming effort, Manghani said there is a “need to find applications that consumers can use that can be built on top of blockchain infrastructure projects such as Solana,” and gaming will be one of them.
The in-game avatar creation contest will end on August 8th.
Those whose work is selected will also receive a 2% creator royalty from the NFT of the hero based on the design, in addition to the prize money.

In addition to Step’n, Find Satoshi Lab also entered the NFT market last November. It is a form of launching “MOOAR”, a membership NFT market that supports multi-chains.
